    ABCD Engineering, which recently opened its doors in Morgan Doyle Park (part of the Croghan Industrial Estate) is the latest addition to Arklow’s ever-expanding industrial community, specializing in Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Mild Steel sheet metal manufacturing.
     
    The official opening of ABCD’s new and expandable, state-of-the-art and fully air-conditioned building took place in August, the ritual of cutting the ribbon being performed by Nicky Kelly, the newly-elected Mayor of Arklow. The carefully-planned ceremony was orchestrated to alleviate any delivery issues to ABCD customers.
     
    Under the astute leadership of Managing Director, David Farrell, (who can boast of 19 years’ experience working with stainless steel, having cut his teeth with Galway Stainless) ABCD Engineering has built up considerable experience in handling stainless steel and aluminium, and the company can offer a guaranteed service like no other.
     
    With a locally-recruited work-force experienced in workshop and on-site engineering projects, customers can rest assured that their particular project will be planned and executed, without fuss, on time and to budget.
     
    This sparkling new engineering facility, located in a highly desirable and modern Industrial estate, will greatly expand and enhance the comprehensive machining services which ABCD already provide to their many satisfied customers.
     
    Who We Are

    Stainless Wall Sheeting and Canopies
    From a very comprehensive menu, ABCD Engineering can offer a wide range of stainless steel wall canopies, centre-floor units and wall sheeting, all made-to-measure, any location. This range also includes small hot-food counters to full-sized industrial/hotel kitchens. Wall sheeting is available in stainless steel and also in pvc. Supply only or supply and fit.
     
    Hand Rails and Balustrades
    Due to its non-corrosive properties, and its maintenance-free finish, stainless steel is now the principal material in the manufacture of hand-rails, balconies and balustrades. ABCD Engineering carry a wide in-house range of stainless steel: Grade 316L (which is recommended for outdoor or marine usage) and Grade 304 (indoor use). There is also a large selection of self-assembly rails available in multiple sizes. 
     
    Alloy Welding
    An innovative service, of which ABCD are particularly proud, is their Alloy Welding facility. This encompasses everything from Alloy Wheel repairs to advanced machine welding (MIG/TIG/ARC/CO2) There is also an electro polishing service available. It should be pointed out at this juncture that industry alone are not the only beneficiaries of ABCD Engineering’s splendid service, as the company actively encourages walk-in trade from the man-in-the-street.
     
    Pharmaceutical Equipment
    The company specialize in producing Pallet Units (Grade 316L), Platforms and Frames (all custom-made) for the pharmaceutical industry. They are also the suppliers of stainless steel and aluminium components to local industry. The company specialises in the fabrication of stainless steel and aluminium. Due to its non-corrosive properties, and the fact that it’s cheaper than mild steel (when the cost of galvanisation is added), maintenance-free stainless steel is now the principal material in the manufacture of hand-rails, balconies and balustrades. 

Fitted glass can be supplied with assembled stainless hand-rails, which means convenience for the customer in a ‘One-Stop-Shop’ situation.
